If you all are not aware, postage rates went up as of Jan 17, 2016 by 9.8%. As a small business owner this poses a real challenge – either I mark up my soap by 2 dollars (5 dollars becomes 7 dollars for a bar) to help cover the postage or you as the consumer will pay the postage. Based off of my current soap packaging, I cannot just throw your soap in a small box or a small envelope for mailing. In addition, I WILL NOT use first class mail – all soap will be delivered via priority mail to include 2-4 day shipping turn around, a tracking number, and insurance of $50.00. If you do not like the security features and wish to pay first class mail only, then I will be happy to accommodate, but please let me know.
In my delivery I will try hard to deliver in 3 ways Large Priority Flat Rate (bubble padded) envelope. This will fit 2-3 of my soap with their protective boxes – rate is $6.80
Medium priority Flat Rate Box – 13.50 – which will hold about 6 -8 of my soap with their protective boxes
Large flat rate box – $18.75 for more than 8 bars of soap.
Now, if for some reason the above methods do not work or if I ran out of the above methods and I am at a post office mailing your items – they may or may not have the appropriate packaging there in stock – if they do not, I will have to choose what is available for shipping- pay for the packaging price plus the shipping to ship out your item. However, I WILL ONLY SHIP PRIORITY on the packaging so pricing may vary if this is the case.
Also, if you pay more than what I paid to ship your soap, I will gladly refund the amount if over $2.00
As a business owner I need to make sure my customers are happy and use the most reliable and secure mailing solution. I hope you understand and if there are any issues please feel free to contact me
